Energy UK comments on announcement of Automated and Electric Vehicles Bill
Commenting on government plans to boost electric vehicle infrastructure outlined in the Queen’s speech today,
Energy UK CEO Lawrence Slade said:
“Electric vehicles have the potential to benefit consumers as part of the smarter, low-carbon energy system we are building in the UK. The government is right to focus on improving the infrastructure that supports their use - and the energy industry stands ready to work with Ministers to shape polices that boost investment and innovation in the UK’s low-carbon transport sector.”
